Talk to Pufy out loud

Voice chat, hands-free or push to talk, voices and read aloud.

Voice chat is part of Pufy+. It opens under the writing field, and the chat above shows the words as Pufy speaks.

Start a voice chat

1. Tap the voice button next to the writing field.
2. Allow the microphone if asked.
3. Speak. Pufy answers out loud. The panel shows Listening, Thinking or Speaking.
4. Tap the keyboard button to go back to typing, or end the voice chat.

Settings in the voice panel

• Language: Auto speaks the language you speak, or pick one of 12.
• Hands-free (Pufy listens and answers on its own) or Push to talk (hold to speak, release to send; better in a noisy room).
• Keep listening outside Pufy (Hands-free only): the voice chat goes on when you leave Pufy. On iPhone it shows in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen; on Android, in a notification.

Voices

Meet Voice lets you hear 10 voices and pick one. Each agent can have its own voice; set it in the agent's sheet (tap its name at the top of the chat).

Other ways to use your voice

• Tap read aloud under any reply.
• Say "yes" or "no" to answer an approval card.

If something is wrong

• Microphone access is off: tap Open Settings and allow it.
• Microphone busy: another app, or a call, is using it. Close it and try again.
• After today's voice limit, Pufy writes instead until tomorrow.
