Connectors and skills

Connect services like Gmail and Google Calendar, and teach Pufy how you do a task.

A connector lets Pufy use another service, such as Gmail, Google Calendar or Google Drive. A skill is a short guide Pufy follows for a kind of task.

Add a connector

  1. Open the menu (top left), then tap the gear button at the bottom left to open Settings. Tap Agents settings.
  2. Tap Connectors. Browse Featured, or tap View all.
  3. Tap Add, then Connect, and sign in on the service's own page.

Pufy keeps the sign-in on its server, sealed, and never sends it to the app. Turn a connector off for one chat with the connectors button in the writing field. Remove it to revoke its access.

Reading through a connector runs on its own. Anything that sends or changes something asks with a card.

Add a server by its address

With Pufy+, Add by URL connects any remote MCP server. Pufy asks with a card before every one of its tools runs. Not available to people under 18.

Skills

  • Built in: Word documents, PDFs, presentations, spreadsheets, and a skill that helps you make skills.
  • Your own: in Skills, tap Create with Pufy, Upload a skill (a SKILL.md file) or Import from GitHub.
  • Or teach Pufy in the chat: "remember how I plan a team offsite", then tell it the steps. Pufy shows the skill on a card and saves it only if you approve.
  • Presentations and PDF work use Pufy's computer.

Limits

Up to 10 connectors and 100 skills of your own. A skill never overrides Pufy's rules.
