Use Pufy from other apps: API and MCP

Make a personal API key and ask Pufy from your own scripts or from AI apps.

With Pufy+, you can ask Pufy from other programs: your own scripts through the API, or AI apps that connect to MCP servers.

Make a key

1. Open the menu (top left), then tap the gear button at the bottom left to open Settings. Tap Agents settings.
2. Tap API and MCP, then New key, and give it a name. If two-step sign-in is on, confirm it's you.
3. Copy the key now. It is shown only once.
4. To use MCP, tap Copy the MCP settings and paste them into the other app.

Good to know

• Up to 5 keys. Delete a key to stop it working at once.
• Keep keys secret. Anyone with a key can ask Pufy as you.
• A key can only ask. Anything that sends, books or changes something waits for your approval in the app; a key can never approve.
• Questions count toward your daily limit, and the page shows each key's questions today.
• Keys reach your everyday agents, not project agents.
• Sign out of all other devices also deletes every API key.
